A first-time visitor to Hellams Vineyard, we're looking forward to showcasing the wines of Ross Andrew, a boutique producer from the Woodinville area. * We're looking forward to the return of Joe Forest, owner/winemaker of Tempus Cellars in Walla Walla this Saturday, June 29th from 1 - 6 p.m. We love the style of Tempus wines; bold with flavor, capturing qualities from the earth, while maintaining a polished, round texture and lengthy finish. A native of Seattle and University of Washington graduate, Joe took courses in the Enology Program at Walla Walla Community College in 2004, while simultaneously working at Seven Hills Winery. In 2005, Forest became assistant winemaker at Dunham Cellars, and was the head winemaker at Patit Creek Cellars. Tempus is a Latin word meaning time. Alluding to the lengthy and steadfast nature of making wine, the Forest family hopes you appreciate the effort put into each and every bottle they produce. Four Days of Fireworks Fun with Five Star Cellars!!! Five Star wines are truly some of our Walla Walla favorites, and we'll pour a broad selection of their outstanding wines, kicking it off with a 1 p.m. start time on Thursday, July 4th. We'll have the large bbq on the deck, open for you to bring a cooler and throw on your favorite grilled delight! Pair up your selection with a glass or bottle of Five Star wine! Grilling starts at 5 p.m., and this year's fireworks show starts at dusk (between 10 - 10:15 p.m.). We have one of the best vantage points along the channel, with the launch site directly across from the Channel Lodge.
