One of our favorite tastings from last year!   Now Doug McCrea is back again, to focus on some new releases of Salida wines, a project dedicated to Spanish-varietals grown in Eastern Washington.   You might remember Doug's previous project, McCrea Cellars, focused on Rhone Varietals... he was a pioneer with Viognier, Syrah, Grenache and many others before anyone knew these varietals could thrive in Washington wine country.  Don't miss this one!

The July "Taste of Walla Walla" dinner cruise will feature Dave Huse from Five Star Cellars and Cameron Rushton from Raptor Winery on Friday, July 5th from 6:30 - 9 p.m. for a special "4th of July Weekend" cruise!  This is a fully catered dinner cruise featuring  appetizers, cracked crab and chicken, roasted potatoes, salad, bread and dessert.  The voyage will depart from La Conner at the Channel Lodge dock (directly in front of the wine shop) and take us up the Swinomish Channel and through Deception Pass... this is a fantastic scenic cruise abundant with eagles, seals, and spectacular scenery and wonderful history.  During the cruise you'll have an opportunity to order wine and pick up afterwards at the shop.  Cost is $129 per person; ($139 non club + tax).  RSVP is required by calling the shop at 360.466.1758.  There is a 10-day, non-refundable cancellation policy in effect for this trip.
